The dreaded falling citation count is happening to me again. Perhaps your magic can cure this again!
I am meeting JMBC in January, and we will look at the problem again. However, this whole issue is way down my priorties list. At this time CZ and I maintain RAS, but my role is limited as a fire extinguisher when a big problem appears. This issue with falling citation counts has been with us for a while, and we have had nobody who really has taken an in depth look at the issue. But your email suggests that it was cured, in the sense that when the database was fixed, the count went up? If you have skype, maybe we can have a look at this together in January?
Hope you are well. When are you visiting us again?
I was planning to stay for a couple of days last time was in the UK, but did not find nobody to stay with, so I basically just flew in and out. Next time it will be the same thing, I will rush between Stansted and Heathrow on 7 January. I will stay put in NYC I think until May, and then bugger off to my self-imposed labour camp in Siberia. But coming to Guildford is realistic early December, I could give a talk about co-authorship networks in economics.
