Finally got in. stopped rid. I suppose the machine will get rebooted as all.repec.org is down again, so it will come up again... On Sat, 28 Jan 2012, 'Christian Zimmermann' wrote:

Thomas' idea to use the old nebka disk since he felt that the RAID 1 mirrored snefru disk(s) were failing and that is why it was getting hung. Sorry about that, I had no idea - I got the machine up with an IP and figured I was done. Let me know if you want something done - I can go in tomorrow. Yes but I can't update it and now I have even shot dpkg. Bob rishu is the AMD achitecture, and nebka is the i386 architecture. Cheers, Thomas Krichel http://openlib.org/home/krichel http://authorprofile.org/pkr1 skype: thomaskrichel
rishu is certainly not an AMD - I believe its a redhat versus debian on nebka. a OS install - I don't have the time to do that - I will take rishu because it is I think a redhat and use it for a back up to my one server I still seriously doubt that snefru had a disk problem. Did you run e2fschk on a mounted device? If not, how did you unmount the one and only disk? Do you want snefru back? That would be my suggestion. Bob On 1/28/2012 9:07 PM, Thomas Krichel wrote:
