Any news on the nebka front. I just gave a talk at the OECD, and people there knew the machine was down and enquired about the situation... Christian Zimmermann FIGUGEGL! Prof. Zimmermann, The backup has been going extremely slowly. I've managed to back up several directories under /home containing some 35-40GB of data. Each directory has been taking many hours. I've been forced to leave the backup going overnight and check up on it in the morning a couple times now. I'm hoping to finish up today. Once it's done, I'll restart Nebka to allow it's administrators to try to see if there is anything they can do about the situation. I guess it is going slowly because the USB jack is 2.0, much like it was for my office computer. Nothing we can do here in the short term. If you really see little progress, the aras account is the most critical, I think. Christian Zimmermann FIGUGEGL!
