Here is what I did to fix krichel@trabbi:~$ ssh archec.repec.org -l root root@rishu ~ # ls -ld /home/archec/ drwxr-xr-x 9 adrepec adrepec 4096 Dec 29 20:17 /home/archec/ root@rishu ~ # chown -R archec.archec /home/archec/ It seems to work now.
