The nightly script fails at this with: sudo: sorry, you must have a tty to run sudo error: error running shared postrotate script for '/home/aras/authors.repec.org-access /home/aras/authors.repec.org-error ' is there a workaround? How is apache log rotation supposed to work? Is it done by root by default (in a default apache+logrotate install, i mean)? -ivan On Tue, Sep 6, 2011 at 10:54 PM, Dan Hayes <dhayes501@gmail.com> wrote:

Also, maybe you could allow aras user to execute:
sudo /usr/bin/killall -HUP httpd
WITHOUT the password. This is for log rotation (/home/aras/etc/logrotate.conf).
I believe this is working now also
