From the little I understand, the autodiscover CNAME is not needed for us. Maybe that fixes it.

authors IN CNAME authors.repec.org.edgekey.net.
in the current data. If I remove it I suspect we loose the A record info for authors. We can't have this record and the records you suggest adding.

I guss you have two records, it should be
