Keep the originals for a backup. Same architecture? Still risky, and even if successful, may not help. Obviously. On May 17, 2009, at 3:23 PM, Thomas Krichel <krichel@openlib.org> wrote:

Try downgrading the libmysqlclient?
On my machine
trabbi:/home/krichel# ls -l /usr/lib/libmysqlclient* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2009-02-16 20:05 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient_r.so.15 -> libmysqlclient_r.so.15.0.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2004060 2009-02-04 03:54 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient_r.so.15.0.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2009-02-16 20:05 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient.so.15 -> libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1995612 2009-02-04 03:54 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0
on nebka
nebka:/var/log# ls -l /usr/lib/libmysqlclient* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2009-05-16 11:55 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient_r.so.15 -> libmysqlclient_r.so.15.0.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2004028 2009-04-19 04:16 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient_r.so.15.0.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2009-05-16 11:55 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient.so.15 -> libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1995580 2009-04-19 04:16 /usr/lib/ libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0
copy the two files???
The error is only in the second file but it may be that? Maybe a dare-devil undertaking...
The version reported are very similar...
