HTTPS is just a different transport layer. In theory it shouldn't matter to the application if you use HTTP or HTTPS.
Yes, but to keep the http:// address we need to reengineer all other pages but the homepage. I am not off-hand aware how this can be done without changes to the acis code.
Can't you just redirect http://authors.repec.org/ to https://authors.repec.org/ ? BTW: Why is there no Reply-To header in the ras-run mails? /Sune
