The discrepancy of the citation counts between CitEc and RAS has been a mystery to me since the introduction of citations in RAS. I have no answer. On Wed, 25 Jan 2012, Jose Manuel Barrueco wrote:

Dear Jos??Barrueco,
I checked my home page at Ideas and I found about citations the following situation:
8 items of Working Papers are cited with a total of 18 citations.
3 items of articles are cited with a total of 6 citations (1 article is also WP and links its citations to that of the WP)
I confirm that these citations are correct.
I enclose the page of my Citations as I copied fron Ideas.
If I look at the page citation in my RePEc Author service (once I logged in) I find only 11 citations regarding 5 WP and 2 articles. This page has not been up-to-dated since one month or more. Why?
Thank you
Best regards
Daniele Schilir
