Another year came to an end. Let us first look at how RePEc did in
November. We added to archives, Manchester Institute of Innovation Research
and Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. We counted 374,489
file downloads and 1,459,965 abstract views.
Now if we look at the entire year, we added 34 archives, which is less than
previous years, but with over 2300 archives, the room to grow on that
measure is getting smaller. We launched a completely rewritten RePEc Author
Service. We counted 5,245,090 file downloads and 20,054,709 abstract views.
Archives added about 350,000 items, including 56,000 working papers and
265,000 articles. 1700 new authors registered with RePEc. About 10 million
references were extracted.
After all these years, RePEc is still growing healthily and getting heavily
used. We are looking forward to continue serving the economics profession
in 2024!
