RePEc in April 2007
by Christian Zimmermann 04 May '07

04 May '07

Hello all, here is the latest about RePEc. First, we have a leadership change for NEP, our email awareness program. Bernardo Batiz-Lazo, now at Leicester University, has lead this project since October 2000 and is now relayed by Marco Novarese, from the University of the Oriental Piedmont. See http://nep.repec.org/ for details. Also, RePEc has now over 750 participating archives, offering over 2500 series. We are just two short of 600 journals. In terms of traffic, we recorded last month 615,138 file downloads and 2,174,123 abstract views. This brings us to the thresholds passed in April: 75000000 abstract views on IDEAS 15000000 paper downloads 475000 items 240000 abstracts 150000 online papers 150000 paper abstracts 90000 article abstracts 75000 articles with citations 20000 articles with references 2500 series 1000 books 750 archives 80 fields covered in NEP 50% of items claimed by registered authors* * Technically, this is not true, as a paper can be claimed by several authors. What is true is that the number of claims as reached 50% of the number of items. Christian Zimmermann FIGUGEGL! Interestingly, RePEc have added the last 50 archives in just under three months. In that same three month period, we have received 47 requests for archive codes which have not yet been established. Separately, I am pleased to report that we will soon index several Blackwell statistics journals, prominent among them the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series A, B, C. Kit
