Hello RePEc friends: many developments at RePEc in the past month: first we are very close to release a new author service that will make it significantly easier to register and to update author profiles. While the new release will be replicating the current functionalities with only few new bells and whistles, the flexibility of the new scripts will allow for many interesting developments. Registered authors will be notified once the new system will be in place. In terms of trafic, no records in this short month, but as every time, significant increases compared to the same month in the previous year: 315,326 file downloads and 1,566,500 abstract views. All details are at http://logec.hhs.se/. In terms of benchmarks passed over the past month, a few new archives and increased listings from Blackwell and Kluwer brought us the following: 220000 items 125000 online items 125000 working papers 30000 items with extracted references 25000 items with citations 4000 registered authors 1200 working paper series 250 journals Quite an impressive list for such a short month! -- Christian Zimmermann FIGUGEGL!
