I am sorry, this is partially my fault. I wrote an email about that back in November 2011 to RePEc-run, but it had not reached anyone (since my email address was not subscribed). And I didn't realize it had not reached anyone.
My fault for discarding messages from non-members.
Shit happens, all that is water under the bridge...
It is difficult to ensure now that all the person templates are displaying affiliations consistently. It would mean regenerate the templates for everyone, which is slow and expensive in CPU time.
But not as expensives as Sune's time.
My time is scarce but not as expensive as I'd like. Never the less, it would be really good to have the templates regenerated. Fixing the bugs in the system must, of course, have priority. But after that, please!
There are competing interests. I have adapted my code and would have to readapt for a reversal (one cannot completely roll back, as the workplace shares and deceased fields are new anyway).

We can remove the arrows in the Workplace-Name.
I suspect this would be a good idea.
In any case, I don't have much of any opinion on the structure of the data, but I suggest the proponents of change make sure we have the redif documentation updated.

Send me a changed version or let me know where one can be found.
