This has data from the RePEc Author Service (RAS). I created this is
1999 to provide author claiming for RePEc. Christian Zimmermann
has been running it from many years, most recently from the Federal
Reserve Bank in St. Louis.
There are some, very few registrants in both AuthorClaim and
RAS. My intention is to automatically detect this and then send you
a combined file that would contain the AuthorClaim recorrd only for
those double folks. This is on my to-do list.
Kindly check the RePEc data. I would rather submit XML data but
it is tough to figure out it's structure from the Schema that
Janifer submitted to me, and some data elements' semantics is
unclear to me.

Sorry, Christian.
I think this should be safe, or at most a one-time issue, but which simply
stuck. I guess it is repeated on every session-clear run for some specific
broken session, which never gets cleared. To be 100% sure I need to check,
and I may be able to do that tomorrow or on Friday.

the other comes from the adrepec account at snefru,
but I don't know how, I think nebka fetches it,
for securiy reasons, since we don't have acess to
the machine.

I am with Jose, and we are trying to figure a few things on RAS. One is
why the citations numbers never coincide between RAS and CitEc. But there
seems to be urgent stuff.
Only 2000 citations have been added to CitEc last month. Part of the
reason is likely that magic sessions have not been running (and they still
are not) which reduced traffic to RAS and thus citation claims.
But a bigger reason seems to be that citations do not make it to RAS. We
checked the tables, and the numbers of records there look healthy. Thus it
seems the processing to the user pages is somehow deficient. Could this be
related to APU currently not running?
The apu_queue table has as of now 87 records, and I do not think they have
been processed. And many more should be in queue.

I wonder whether this has to do with the crashing of the table that holds
the queue for automatic updates. I guess people check on citations when
they are prompted to add a paper to their profile.
But that does not explain why fewer citations are available to add for
those who check, which seems to be the case for Carmen Reinhardt.
